Managing Director

Matt has over 15 years’ experience in the property & construction industries. Starting work onsite in 2005 for a steel fabricator. Matt trained as a Quantity Surveyor before working as a Project Manager at Lanskey Constructions and Hutchinson Builders where he completed numerous large commercial & residential apartment projects.

Matt holds a degree in Property & Construction Management, graduate qualifications in Law and is a licenced Open Builder.

Kylie Gartrell

Project Director

Kylie Gartrell brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Project Director at Big Projects, backed by a strong academic foundation and diverse career experience. She leads the sales and marketing efforts for each development, while playing a pivotal role in the design and conception phases. With her extensive experience, Kylie drives the strategic vision and operational management, leading projects with a strong focus on detail, deadlines, and client satisfaction.

With a track record of managing long-term, complex projects, Kylie is committed to delivering high-quality results that meet the needs of our buyers.

Kylie holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours, a Masters in Industrial Property, and a PhD in Physiology. Her career spans roles in intellectual property law, where she worked as a Patent Attorney, and positions in research, both in laboratory and hospital settings. She has also lectured at Bond University in the BioMed program, further showcasing her analytical skills and commitment to excellence. Her ability to manage intricate projects and relationships ensures that every development under her leadership is executed to the highest standard.
