What began as a family business has evolved into an integrated property group with more than four decades of experience across development, construction and property management. While the business has grown, the philosophy hasn't. Managing Director
With more than 20 years of experience across property and construction, Matthew trained as a Quantity Surveyor before progressing into project management roles with Lanskey Constructions and Hutchinson Builders, delivering large-scale commercial and residential developments.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Property and Construction Management, postgraduate qualifications in Law and is a licensed Open Builder.
Today, as Managing Director of Big Projects, Matthew oversees all aspects of the business, from land acquisition and development strategy through to design, construction and ongoing property management. His hands-on approach ensures every project remains true to its original vision, with a focus on quality, commercial performance and long-term value.
Development Director
As Development Director, Kylie leads the strategic delivery of Big Projects developments, guiding projects from initial concept through to completion. Working across design, sales and marketing, she ensures the original vision is carried through every stage.
Kylie holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours, a Master’s in Industrial Property and a PhD in Physiology. Her diverse career spans intellectual property law as a Patent Attorney, scientific research and academia, bringing a strong analytical and strategic approach to project delivery.
Combining this experience with a focus on detail, collaboration and the customer experience, Kylie plays a key role in creating developments that connect with buyers and respond to the communities they're part of.
Construction Director
Matt brings over 30 years of experience leading construction projects across Australia and the UK, having held senior leadership roles with national construction firms, including Condev and Arena Property Group.
His experience spans major residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, including high-rise residential and luxury projects, bringing extensive expertise in managing complex construction projects.
As Construction Director, Matt oversees the day-to-day operations of Big Projects' construction division, leading the team responsible for delivering each development with a focus on quality, efficiency and attention to detail. His hands-on leadership ensures the original development vision is carried through to completion.
